Book-it Repertory
OROVILLE – Book-it Repertory Theatre performs Minty, A Story of Young Harriet Tubman, on Friday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m. at the Oroville Library. All ages are welcome. After the performance kids are invited to a workshop in which they will write a story and adapt it into a book-it style presentation.
First District 16 meeting

Green Okanogan
TONASKET – On April 19 and 20, the Community Cultural Center of Tonasket will sponsor a two day Green Okanogan Alternatives Fair. The topics covered will include alternatives in Energy, Housing and Agriculture. This is a free event beginning at 10 a.m. each day. There will be presentations, demonstrations and discussions on such topics as alternative fuel, solar greenhouses, energy and alternative building techniques.

Weather Spotter Training
OKANOGAN – The National Weather Service in Spokane is seeking volunteers who would like to become weather spotters.
