The Caribou Trail League announced the all-league players for girls’ soccer and Tonasket Tiger Karen Keeton at forward was named to the second team and teammates Rachel Rillera and Jessie Hedlund made honorable mention.
On the first team, goalkeeper Tara Marchand (Okanogan), defense Nadine Downey (Okanogan) Maria Guzman (Cascade), Brisieda Bravo (Chelan) and Betty Angel (Brewster). Midfield players were Kelly Downey (Okanogan), Taylor Smith (Cashmere), Kate Peer (Chelan) and Jackie McCormack (Brewster). Forwards were Corina Gebbers (Brewster), Kylie Brunner (Cashmere) and Kayla Werner (Cascade).
Second team was keeper Connie Nava (Brewster), defense Jacqueline Cloakey and Haley Christensen (Cashmere), Berla Sanchez (Brewster), and Emily Peterson (Cascade). Midfielders were Emilia Stefanko (Cascade), Kristen Elsea (Okanogan), Jacque Davis (Cashmere), Alyssa Verbeck (Omak), and Llesenia Infante (Brewster). Forwards for the second team were Karen Keeton (Tonasket), Christine Walsoe (Omak) and Rosie Morris (Cascade).
Honorable mention in girls’ soccer was, from Tonasket, Rachel Rillera and Jessie Hedlund, Ruth Ortiz (Brewster), Kelli Spencer, Mollie Newberry and Stephanie Zamudio (Cashmere), Taylor McLellan (Chelan), Kailey Grattan (Omak) and Jennifer Widell and Rebecca Olson (Okanogan).
Co-coaches of the year in girls’ soccer were Cindy Gayne (Omak) and Alex Sanchez (Brewster). Chelan’s team won for sportsmanship. Co-players of the year were Nadine Downey (Okanogan) and Kylie Brunner (Cashmere).
