Criminal
- James Matthew Hendrickson, 36, Omak, pleaded guilty Sept. 8 to POCS (methamphetamine) and use of drug paraphernalia. Hendrickson was sentenced Nov. 2 to 90 days in jail with 75 days suspended, and fined $600. The crimes occurred July 10.
- Kevin Earl Devine, 45, Oroville, pleaded guilty Nov. 3 to three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. The crimes occurred Feb. 10 and April 26. In a second case, Devine pleaded guilty Nov. 3 to an additional count of delivery of a controlled substance. That crime occurred Feb. 2. Devine was sentenced to a total of 40 months in prison and fined a total of $3,801.
- Christopher Alan Reed, 33, Oroville, pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of POCS (with intent) and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. The court dismissed an additional count of delivery of a controlled substance. Reed was sentenced to 20 months in prison and fined $2,380.50.
- Robert Charlie Atkins, 25, Oroville, pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to fourth-degree assault (lesser included to second-degree assault). Atkins was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 202 days suspended, and fined $1,160.50.
- Wayne Evans, 65, Tonasket, pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to third-degree possession of stolen property (lesser included to possession of a stolen motor vehicle). Evans was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $1,160.50.
- Jacob Scott Sutton, 19, Omak, pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to POCS (methamphetamine). The court dismissed a charge: use of drug paraphernalia. Sutton was sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Aug. 26.
- William Shane Craig, 51, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Nov. 1 to harassment (gross misdemeanor) (lesser included to harassment [threats to kill]). Craig was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 304 days suspended, and fined $615.
- Caesar Arroyo, 30, Tonasket, was found guilty (jury trial) Nov. 2 of attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, DUI and third-degree DWLS. Arroyo was sentenced Nov. 3 to 18 months in prison and fined $5,260.50 for the June 23, 2015 crimes.
- The court found probable cause to charge Chad Evert Sasse, 23, Tonasket, with sexual exploitation of a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes. The crimes allegedly occurred between Aug. 1 and Nov. 18.
- The court found probable cause to charge Anthony Ray McFarlane, 48, Tonasket, with residential burglary (DV), harassment (DV), violation of a no-contact order (DV) and second-degree TMVWOP (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 22.
- The court found probable cause to charge Morgan Autumne Burchinal, 29, Oroville, with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance (both methamphetamine) and one count of POCS (methamphetamine). The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 29.
- The court found probable cause to charge James David St. Peter Jr., 18, Nespelem, with residential burglary, second-degree burglary, third-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 24 in Riverside.
District Court
- Lewis Isaac Joe Adrian, 44, Omak, guilty of DUI. Adrian was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 361 days suspended and fined $2,236.
- Herbert Akridge, 63, Omak, had a third-degree theft charge dismissed.
- Paul Bruce Beatty, 33, Tonasket, guilty of DUI. Beatty was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 344 days suspended, and fined $1,681.
- Eric Gerardo Castro Ruiz, 34, Loomis, guilty of DUI. Castro Ruiz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended and fined $2,236.
- Daggon Andrew Devoy Chaska, 24, Tonasket, guilty of fourth-degree assault. Chaska was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 344 days suspended, and fined $873.
- Gilberto Cortes Maciel, 37, Tonasket, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed.
- Carlos Ivan Cortina Guzman, 23, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS and driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Cortina Guzman was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended.
- Lazaro Pagaza Cortinas, 23, Omak, guilty of reckless driving. Cortinas had a reckless endangerment charge dismissed. Cortinas was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 344 days suspended, and fined $873.
- Tricia Lynn Dezellem, 43, Omak, had a charge dismissed: violation of a no-contact order.
