Criminal
- Jesse Leander Abrahamson, 19, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 7 to delivery of a controlled substance (heroin). Abrahamson was sentenced to 12-plus months in prison and fined $2,150.50 for the Jan. 27 crime.
- Eric Allen Harbin, 24, Tonasket, pleaded guilty Oct. 14 to second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Harbin was sentenced to 24 months in prison and fined $600 for the Aug. 13 crimes.
- Rachel Dawn Morales, 33, Oroville, pleaded guilty Oct. 14 to tampering with a witness. The court dismissed a charge of second-degree assault (strangulation) (DV). Morales was sentenced to two months in jail and fined $1,110.50 for the June 22 crime.
- Ashley Caroline Huner, 26, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Oct. 14 to first-degree criminal trespassing and forgery. Huner was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fiend $1,110.50 for the May 4 crimes.
- Samuel Cormier Dube, 26, Laval, Quebec, pleaded guilty Oct. 14 to three counts of POCS (one each of heroin, cocaine and phencyclidine) and one count of attempted POCS (with intent) (MDMA). Dube was sentenced to nine months in jail and fined $2,110.50. The crimes occurred July 28 at the Oroville Port of Entry.
- The court dismissed Oct. 16 a harassment (threats to kill) charge against Getulio Hernandez Garcia, 20, Okanogan. The charge was dismissed without prejudice.
- The court found probable cause to charge David Leslie Louis, 33, Omak, with intimidating a witness and fourth-degree assault. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 2.
- The court found probable cause to charge Shalin E. Alltus, 16, Riverside, with first-degree aggravated murder, first-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of theft of a firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm (juvenile in possession). The crimes allegedly occurred between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
- The court found probable cause to charge Parker M. Bachtold, 16, Riverside, with first-degree aggravated murder, first-degree robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, two counts of theft of a firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm (juvenile in possession). The crimes allegedly occurred between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
- The court found probable cause to charge Brent McNeil Bleakney, 33, Omak, with second-degree theft (access device), three counts of second-degree ID theft, and six counts of third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred between Oct. 6 and 10.
- The court found probable cause to charge Joshua Robert Munsey, 21, Okanogan, with second-degree assault (strangulation). The crime allegedly occurred Oct. 10.
Juvenile
- A 16-year-old Omak boy pleaded guilty Sept. 24 to third-degree theft. He was sentenced Oct. 8 to 10 days in detention, and fined $100 for the Sept. 13 crime. A restitution hearing was scheduled for Dec. 17.
- A 17-year-old Okanogan boy pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to MIP/C and minor frequenting an off-limits area. The boy was sentenced to two days in detention with credit for two days served, and fined $100 for the Aug. 9 crimes. In a separate case, the same boy pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to minor in a public place exhibiting effects of liquor. For that crime, he was sentenced to three days in detention with credit for one day served, and fined $100. That crime occurred July 25.
- A 14-year-old Omak boy pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 14 days in detention with credit for 14 days served, and fined $100 for the Aug. 15 crime.
- A 16-year-old Omak boy pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to disorderly conduct. The boy was sentenced to 10 days in detention with credit for 10 days served, and fined $100 for the Sept. 7 crime.
- A 13-year-old Okanogan girl pleaded guilty Oct. 8 to possession of marijuana by a person under 21 years of age. The girl was sentenced to two days in detention and fined $75 for the April 12 crime.
- A 13-year-old Oroville girl pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to harassment (first offense). The girl was sentenced to eight days in detention with credit for eight days served, and fined $100 for the Sept. 15 crime.
- A 12-year-old Omak girl pleaded guilty Oct. 15 to residential burglary and third-degree theft. The girl was sentenced to 20 days in detention with credit for 20 days served, and fined $100 for the Aug. 7 crimes. A restitution hearing was scheduled for Dec. 17.
Civil
- The state Department of Labor and Industry assessed the following businesses for unpaid workers’ compensation taxes, penalties and fines: McCuen and Jones Construction LLC, Okanogan, $3,170.20; Fiddler Fencing LLC, Omak, $774.07; Lawrence Construction Services of Washington LLC, $1,930.38.
- The state Department of Revenue assessed Badger Excavating and Construction Inc., Tonasket, $2,855.81 for unpaid taxes, penalties and fines.
- The state Department of Labor and Industry assessed the following individuals for overpayment of unemployment benefits, penalties and fines: Tyler Buchanan, Okanogan, $228.48; Jason R. Adkins, Omak, $3,775.66; David C. Sullivan, Omak, $1,113.12.
District Court
- Brandon Shea Marchand, 40, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Marchand was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, and fined $658.
- Joseph Edward McEthmar, 49, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree DWLS. McEthmar received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $618.
- Jerry Ray Mears Jr., 26, Riverside, guilty of third-degree theft. Mears received a 180-day suspended sentence and fined $808.
- Rachel Dawn Morales, 33, Oroville, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Morales received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $818.
- Larry Joe Newsome Jr., 35, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed. Newsome was fined $200.
- Misty Francine Ornelas, 33, Oroville, guilty of second-degree DWLS. Ornelas received a 180-day suspended sentence and fined $1,058.
- Rosalio Ramirez Ezquivel, 36, had a charge dismissed: no valid operator’s license without ID.
- Nathan Shane Rayburn, 28, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed. Rayburn was fined $500.
