Criminal
- Daniel S. Dubois, 27, Okanogan, pleaded guilty June 10 to third-degree assault (health care worker) and DUI. Dubois was sentenced to two months in jail and fined $2,406 for March 26 crimes. The court dismissed an additional assault charge.
- Shane M. Heisey, 27, Oroville, pleaded guilty June 11 to POCS (methamphetamine). The court dismissed an additional charge of POCS (heroin). In a separate case, Heisey pleaded guilty June 11 to POCS (methamphetamine). In a third case, Heisey pleaded guilty June 11 to obtaining hotel accommodations by fraud. Heisey was sentenced to nine months in jail to run concurrent among all cases and fined a total of $5,377.50, including $1,046 in restitution to The Camaray Motel in Oroville. In a fourth case, the court dismissed a charge of criminal conspiracy to commit residential burglary. The charge was dismissed with prejudice.
- The court found probable cause to charge Jose Miguel Niebla Plata, 45, Okanogan, with five counts of distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) within 1,000 feet of a school zone. The crimes allegedly occurred in April, May and June of 2014.
- The court found probable cause to charge Ruben Jauregui Ochoa, 38, Omak, with distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and alien in possession of a firearm. The crimes allegedly occurred between June and December of 2013.
- The court found probable cause to charge Brandon Scott Thomas, 22, Omak, with unlawful imprisonment (DV) and fourth-degree assault (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred June 6.
- The court found probable cause to charge Marvella Ocampo, no middle name listed, 38, Oroville, with residential burglary, second-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief.
- The court found probable cause to charge Kristina Michelle Grooms Sloan, 40, Omak, with POCS (methamphetamine) and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred June 9.
- The court found probable cause to charge Seth Jared Harris, 28, Okanogan, with second-degree assault (with a deadly weapon), hit-and-run (attended vehicle) and hit-and-run (unattended vehicle). The crimes allegedly occurred May 22.
Juvenile
- A 14-year-old Omak girl pleaded guilty June 11 to third-degree assault (law enforcement officer). The girl was sentenced to 25 days in detention and fined $100 for the May 16 crime. A restitution hearing was scheduled for Aug. 27.
- A 15-year-old Omak girl pleaded guilty June 11 to MIP/C. The girl was sentenced to five days in detention with credit for two days served, and fined $100 for the May 30 crime.
District Court
- Garrett Jarome Marlatt, 22, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Marlatt received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $858.
- Ishna Rayman Mason, 33, Omak, guilty of second-degree vehicle prowl and third-degree theft. Mason was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $808.
- Jerry Ray Mears Jr., 26, Omak, had a third-degree theft charge dismissed.
- Van Thomas Medcalf, 57, Okanogan, guilty of second-degree DWLS. Medcalf received a 180-day suspended sentence and fined $418.
- Juan M. Medina, 19, Omak, had a hit-and-run (attended vehicle) charge dismissed.
- Ernesto Eduardo Mendez Leon, 19, Okanogan, guilty of fourth-degree assault. Mendez Leon was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 354 days suspended, and fined $1,033.
- Lance Dion Millican, 53, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree theft. Millican was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined $808.
- Christine Marie Mix, 47, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Mix was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 82 days suspended, and fined $858.
- Veronica Salinas Montoya, 27, Omak, guilty of first-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree DWLS. Montoya was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended, and fined $1,666.
- Charles Eugene Moore, 25, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Moore was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, and fined $818.
- Ryan Paul Mulligan, 28, Oroville, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
- Peggy Lee Newman, 53, Tonasket, had two charges dismissed: disorderly conduct and fourth-degree assault.
- Jesus Ramirez Palomares, 52, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS and failure to transfer a title within 45 days. Palomares was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 88 days suspended, and fined $500.
- James Donald Parsons, 58, Tonasket, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
- Richard D.A. Poitras, 33, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed.
- Alexander Reyes Ramirez, 31, Tonasket, guilty on three counts of third-degree DWLS. Reyes Ramirez received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined a total of $954.
- Stacy Lea Rodriguez, 48, Oroville, had a charge dismissed: falsification of an insurance ID card.
