Woman crashes into telephone pole

Ashley Rothrock/submitted photo On Monday evening a 52-year-old female said something went wrong with her steering wheel and caused her to lose control of her vehicle. She swirved, striking a power pole on Highway 7, near Tonasket. There were no injuries and the woman was the only occupant in the vehicle.

The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is investigating a case of fraud reported on Jan. 22, involving a community member who was deceived into depositing a large sum of money into a Bitcoin machine.
