We wish to thank everyone who has supported the Centennial Mural Project on Main Street. Unfortunately, our artist had too many commitments in Seattle and did not make it back to finish before the cold weather set in. He promises to be back, as soon as weather permits, to finish the wall.
The six main sections have been generously sponsored by ReMax Lake and Country Realty, bVisual, Oroville Reman and Reload, The Bergh Family, Kinross Gold and seven Okanogan area families. Many other individuals and organizations have contributed and that money is being used for painting supplies and to give our local artist, Marsha Bell, compensation for the beautiful map she has painted. Marsha and other local artists will be painting the donor list and the finish work around the main murals.
We really appreciate the donation of equipment too and especially want to thank Eisen and Sons for the use of their scaffolding for so long. If you still wish to contribute, just contact us. We are as disappointed as you are that this project did not get finished this year, but it will definitely be done for our 2008 Centennial!
Thank you,
Ellie and Rick Braman
