William Edward Craig passed from this life on March 30, 2016. Ed was born to William Emery Craig and Minnie Naomi Craig on February 2, 1934 in Eldon, Missouri.
Ed and Emerita (Emie) Faelnar were married on October 1, 1978. Emie preceded him in death along with four sisters and one brother.
Ed’s mother passed away when he was 10-years-old and his father a few years later. He then moved in with his sister Dorene, her husband Walter Cline and their two children, Jesse Cline and Mary (Cline) Corum. He resided with them for many years and in 1956 moved with the family to Washington State.
Ed worked various jobs throughout his life, including working in apple orchards, he and his wife’s restaurant (Emie’s Eatery) and delivered mail for many years on the Wauconda route until retirement.
Ed enjoyed raising a garden and selling his produce at the Farmer’s Market. He frequented the Senior Citizens and especially loved playing cards with his friends. Rigo Bravo was one of Ed’s long time fishing partners and close friend. Ed also loved his dog who was his constant companion.
Ed is survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the Oroville Senior Citizens, 1521 Golden Street on April 23, 2016 at 1 p.m.
