Robert (Bob) E. Johnson of Pine Creek Road, Tonasket, Washington, passed away on February 27, 2016 at the age of 71 in Sun City, Arizona from congestive heart failure. Bob was born in Bellingham, Washington on March 3, 1944 to Earl and Dorothy Johnson.
He graduated from Ferndale High School with the class of 1962. He married Barbara Wegley on Feb. 5, 1963. Together they had three children. Bob and Barb enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends for 53 years.
Bob was the owner and operator of Johnson and Son Excavating. Bob lived life to the fullest through his music. He sang and played his guitar and banjo, he had a love of old cars, hunting, fishing and riding his horse, Smokey. Robert was also an organ donor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ralph and son Jeff. He is survived by his wife Barb; daughters Tammie and Bobbie; daughter-in-law Kristi; six grandchildren, Erica, Cory, Brianna, Sarah, Stacy, and Jarod; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Karmen and Hudson; two brothers, Ron and wife Lorraine, Dick and wife Janet, along with nephews, nieces and cousins. Family and friends are invited to his memorial at 2 p.m. on April 16, 2016 at the Crossroads Foursquare Church, 415 A. South Whitcomb Avenue, Tonasket.
