Richard “Dick” Tuttle, age 100 of Tonasket, Washington, died on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at North Valley Extended Care in Tonasket. He was born March 6, 1916 in Anaconda, Montana where he grew up.
Dick attended Montana State College and then graduated from Western College in Dillon, Mont. He began his teaching career in Montana and then moved to Washington State where he taught for many years, retiring from the Tonasket School District. Over the years Dick was very active in coaching youth basketball and baseball and put on many baseball clinics over the years. He also was a scout with the San Francisco Giants. Dick also had a love for animals, especially his dog.
He is survived by one cousin George Hutchens of Kalispell, Montana.
Dick was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Hutchens Tuttle.
A Memorial will be held at a later date.
