Richard A. Sherlock, 71, of Tonasket died at his home on Oct. 2, 2007 surrounded by his family.

Richard was born Nov. 9, 1935 to Jack and Ruth Sherlock of Hollywood, Calif. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Colleen Sherlock of Tonasket; daughter, Ronda Sherlock of Seattle; son and daughter, John and Laura Sherlock of Okanogan; one grandchild, Anne Sherlock; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth.

There was a funeral mass held on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Tonasket at 10 a.m. Following the service the procession drove to the Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens in Okanogan where the graveside service was held. After the graveside service everyone was invited back to the Holy Rosary Church Hall where a luncheon was served and memories and stories were exchanged.
