Mrs. Kay Rose Shearer, age 58, died at her daughter Stephanie’s home in Maple Valley, Wash., she was surrounded by her family on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011. The cause was cancer. Kay was born July 29, 1953.
She enjoyed life, loved to bake, plant gardens and flowers, and every minute she could with her grandkids, family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and a glow that lit up the room.
Survivors include her husband and lifetime friend Greg Shearer; her oldest daughter Deborah Shearer; her son and daughter-in-law Joe and Heather Shearer; and youngest daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Steve Rhyner; grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also, two sisters and two brothers.
Her generous heart and giving soul will leave a legacy for lifetimes to come.
There will be a graveside memorial at the Molson Cemetery Nov. 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. with a potluck immediately following at the Molson Grange.
