John O’Connor age 86 of Oroville died on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket. He was born March 16, 1930 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

John served his country in the U.S. Army and following an honorable discharge moved to Republic, Wash. He was married to Mary Lundy and had five children. In 1951, he moved to Oroville and worked as an orchard foreman in Northern Okanogan County for many years. John loved the outdoors especially, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by one daughter Mary O’Connor of Oroville, three sons John O’Connor of Rogers, Ark., Joe O’Connor of Rogers, Ark. and Jeff O’Connor of Arizona, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Pat O’Connor

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Bergh Chapel in Oroville with Pastor Claude Roberts, officiating.
