Jessie Austen Weaver, 79, Tonasket, died on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 at the North Valley Hospital in Tonasket.

He was born on April 17, 1928 in Coolidge, Ariz. to parents William Riley and Delia Weaver. Mr. Weaver was an avid country music lover. He played guitar and knew the words to so many old forgotten songs. He worked in many trades in many places to make a living. He married Lydia Heffner in Hemet, Calif. and they moved to Oregon in 1972 where he worked in the timber industry. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years. He moved to Tonasket to be with his grandchildren in the last months of his life. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him.

Jessie is survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
