Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Lind, age 70 of Tonasket, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at her home in Tonasket.

She was born on May 28, 1939 in Tonasket to parents Jack and Opal Walker. Jackie was raised in Wauconda and attended school in Wauconda, Tonasket and Republic. On Aug. 11, 1956 she married Bob Lind in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Together they lived in Omak for eight years and then moved to Chesaw. In 1977, they moved to their current home near Tonasket. Jackie worked at Smith and Nelson Warehouse and later began II Sister Video, with her sister, Linda. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and raising koi. Jackie was a member of the Tonasket Kiwanis and enjoyed participating with their projects.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Bob at home; children: Rick (Lida) Lind of Tonasket; Debbie Glover of Brewster; grandson, Trevor Lind of Tonasket; two step grandchildren: Cynthia (Daniel) Riggan of Brewster and William Glover of Oakdale, Calif.; brother, Sam Walker of Tonasket; and sister, Shirley Eberle of Sunnyside.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Linda
