Elizabeth A. Wilson died March 19, 2010 of liver failure at the age of 68.
She was born to James E. and Ethel Michelsen July 21, 1941. On Jan. 22, 1960 she married Henry N. Wilson, they lived in Okanogan County for the 50 years they were together. They raised cattle, grain, apples and pears. In October of 2009 she moved in with her granddaughter, Kaci and Alex King, and then to the Odessa Nursing home in January of 2010. Elizabeth attended Omak schools and graduated from high school in Omak. She worked for the telephone company at first and later worked in the apple warehouses while being a housewife. She was a rural postal carrier for eight years before she retired. She was active in Grange for 49 years and she attended the Tonasket Free Methodist Church for 25 years, and then the Assemblies of God.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: Henry of the home; daughter, Edna (Cliff) Hawkes and grandchildren: Brandon and Josh Hawkes of McPherson, Kan.; and son, Matthew (Laurie) Wilson and grandchildren Kaci (Alex) King, Aaron and Stephanie Wilson of Odessa, Wash.
