Delbert Lee

Delbert Lee, age 79, of Oroville, died Jan. 29, 2011 in Oroville. He was born in Carlisle, Wash. to Orres Dow and Ida Mae (Walker) Lee on Feb. 4, 1931. He was an Army and Air Force Veteran, serving in Vietnam. Delbert was a member of the Oroville Free Methodist Church.

Delbert is survived by his wife, Beverly Lee, at home; Sons: David Lee of Issaquah, Wash., Brian (Jennie) Lee of Buena Park, Calif. and Larry Lee of California; step-Sons: Mark, Erik (Tawnya), Daryl (Rhonda) of Herman, Wash.; step-Daughter, Stephanie Bierig of Washington; sister, Sally Meeks of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Bergh Funeral Home in Oroville. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, 11 a.m. at the Oroville Free Methodist Church, with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Internment to follow at Oroville Riverview Cemetery with full military honors.
