Caroline M. Zabreznik, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011. She was born July 2, 1938 in Vancouver, Wash., as Caroline M. Balderson.
Caroline was raised in Oregon. In 1953, she moved to Tonasket with foster parents, Elmer and Cecil Musgrave to the Aeneas Valley. She graduated from Tonasket High School in 1956. Caroline attended Kinman Business School in Spokane. On May 25, 1957 she married Louis D. Zabreznik in Aeneas Valley.
Caroline is survived by her husband of 54 years, Louis D. Zabreznik; her sons John and his wife, Donna, Mick and his wife, Gayla, all of Tonasket; brother, Jim and his wife Jan Balderson of Sandy, Ore.; grandchildren LaGail and Darren, Brad and Lacey, Krista and Ty, Brent and Evelia; great-grandchildren Michael, Ryden, Cadence, Tyce, Alex, Connor and Levi; many nieces and nephews and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eldon; her mother, Mary; her sister, Sally; foster parents, Elmer and Cecil Musgrave; her in-laws, Louie and Jessie Zabreznik.

Celebration of Caroline’s life will be held Jan. 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Tonasket Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tonasket Senior Center.
