Bertha is survived by her four sons and their wives: Robert (Bunk) and Barb, Wayne and Lori, Steve and Kandie and John and Marcy Ayers all of South Pine Creek; Nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; One brother, Melvin and sister-in-law, Violet Utt.
Her death has left us saddened but her life gave us all such joy.
Bertha was an exceptional woman, she loved her family dearly and they dearly loved her back. She loved to feed people and would always ask if you wanted something to eat and I will guarantee that you did not leave her home without at the very least a cookie in your stomach and a warm feeling in your heart.
A graveside service is planned Friday, July 29, 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery. A reception will follow at Bertha Ayers family home for all family and friends.
Legacy Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
