Ardith E. Law, 84, of Tonasket, Washington went to be with our Lord at 4:10 a.m., February 14, 2016. Ardith was born in Spokane on November 26, 1931 and soon after was adopted by C. Vern and Mildred Steele from Manson, Washington.
She grew up on the family apple orchard and attended school in Manson, graduating from high school in 1949. She developed a love for music and began playing the piano at an early age. She later started playing the organ and became an organist at the churches she attended. Ardith married Noble Orin Law in August of 1953, together they raised their three sons.
Ardith worked in the apple packing warehouses for 15 years, later she opened a pet store in the Tonasket area. She also became a motor-carrier for the Wenatchee World, a job that she did for 30 years. Ardith was a long time member of Kiwanis and active in the communities of Oroville and Tonasket.
Ardith is survived by her husband of 62 years, Noble; sons Stuart, Keith (Helen) and Stanford; two grandchildren Keiana and Noble Orin II; one aunt, Ann Steele of Wenatchee and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
God welcomes Ardith home along with her parents Vern and Mildred Steel, brother Lester and nephew David.
A memorial service will be at the Tonasket Community Church, 24 E. 4th Street, Tonasket, Washington at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016.
