TONASKET – Daniel L. Pavek is missing and the State of Washington is looking for him.
Pavek, husband of Lacey Hirst-Pavek, who has been charged with First Degree Murder of Michelle Kitterman and First Degree Manslaughter of Kitterman’s unborn child, is wanted by the State to testify in the murder trials of Tansy Mathis and David Richards.
Born on July 20, 1978, Pavek is 6’2″, weighs 160 lbs, has brown hair and blue eyes. Sheriff Frank Rogers said Pavek has been missing for approximately three weeks and is a no-show for the trial. He said there is no suspected foul play.
“We have received numerous tips, but none of them have located Pavek for us,” Rogers said. “There is a material witness warrant for him.”
This means Pavek will be arrested when found. Rogers said no one knows why Pavek has gone missing.
Pavek’s last known address was 4 River Loop Rd in Tonasket.
Anyone with information on the location of Pavek should contact the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office. Detective Mike Murray is the detective for this case.
