OROVILLE – An Oktoberfest celebration with local wineries and entertainment will be held on Main Street in Oroville this Saturday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Oktoberfest will take place in the lot between Okanogan Estate and Vineyards and Lake Crest Vineyards tasting rooms and features wines from Lake Crest, Okanogan Estate and Vineyards, Copper Mountain, Esther Bricques and Veranda Beach.

In addition, there will be grape stomping, a wine ring toss, golf putting green, horseshoe game, food vendors, artists and crafts, belly dancers and live music, promises organizer Boni Mathews.

The event is sponsored by the local wineries with support from the Oroville Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are available at the entrance for the wine tasting and ring toss.
