From Tonasket athletic director Kevin Terris:

Tonasket High School will be hosting KREM 2’s Tom Sherry Friday night for his 5 and 6 PM weather report.

The Tonasket cheerleaders will be having a BBQ dinner available to all visitors, starting at 5 PM. Hamburgers, hotdogs, salad and beverage.

The fee for dinner will $5 for adults and $4 for students with an ASB card.

Tonasket Okanogan and Tonasket students are welcome to be apart of the televised broadcast, but the primary focus will be on the Tonasket and Okanogan cheerleaders, football players, and Tonasket band with other kids in the background. I recommend that the cheer squads, high school students, and football players be at the site no later than 4:30 PM for the 5 PM forecast.

Tom will issue checks to both schools for $222.00. A representative from each school needs to be present to accept the check. Tonasket’s ASB president will accept our check.

Gates to the game will be open at 6 PM.

Remind your students there is a considerable amount of down time between weather reports. Good behavior is expected.

This should be a great evening for both Tonasket and Okanogan communities. Hope to see you all there!
