Area residents affected by the Okanogan Complex are urged to call the American Red Cross casework hot line at (509) 670-5331 to open a case.
“So far 31 cases have been opened for residents in Tonasket, but I know of at least 50 cases where homes were lost,” said Mayor Patrick Plumb. “We need to get these numbers recorded so we can qualify for assistance.”
According to the Red Cross, there is no problem with opening a case to get a case number regardless if financial assistance is provided or it it is just resources shared with the client. These numbers will automatically transfer into the Client Assistance Network (CAN) when it is activated.
