OROVILLE – Allure Hair Designs isn’t exactly new in town. However, the hair salon formerly known as Sonia’s Beauty Spot now boasts a new in name and with a familiar friend in Dara Sylvester now running the show, will be hosting its Grand Re-opening on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m-2 p.m.

Allure promises to be a full service hair salon, including facial waxing services and carrying gifts made by Tedi Fletcher.

“I recently changed color lines and have been attending extra classes to bring Oroville the latest and greatest,” Sylvester says.

She has been working in the salon for more than three years.

“I wanted to do hair forever, so after finishing school and working in the industry in Spokane for about a year, I decided I wanted to move home and do my own thing. I love to learn and keep up on trends. I’ve been doing that in Oroville for more than three years and will continue to do so!”

Sylvester claims the Allure Hair Designs as “my one and only baby.”
