OMAK – The spirit of rodeo and community service was alive on Jan. 25 as the Omak Elks Lodge hosted the grand coronation and fundraiser event for the 2025 Rodeo Champions of American (RCA) Washington Royalty.
Natalie Brownlee, hailing from Tonasket as Teen Miss, is a passionate and dedicated individual whose life is deeply intertwined with the thrilling worlds of rodeo and wrestling. Growing up in the heart of Okanogan County, she was drawn to sports, which are celebrated traditions in her community. Her pursuit of excellence has not only honed her skills but also instilled in her the values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Brownlee’s commitment to rodeo is evident through her impressive accomplishments. She was runner-up candidate for Okanogan County Fair Queen and previously served as the Ferry County Fair Princess. These roles allowed her to showcase her leadership abilities and dedication to promoting the sport she loves.
Other 2025 RCA Washington Royalty crowned were Miss RCA Washington, Macy Vassar and Little Miss RCA Washington, Taya Asmussen.
The coronation event was not only a celebration of these remarkable young women but also a successful fundraiser, raising $9000 for the cause of future rodeo events, according to organizers. They added, the evening featured a delightful dinner and a chance for attendees to connect with the newly crowned royalty, all supporting a cause close to their hearts.
