Rayleigh Bell Colbert was seven-months-old when she passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on September 14, 2014. Rayleigh is the daughter and greatest blessing of Patrick and Haley Colbert of Tonasket.
Rayleigh’s time with us brought much joy and laughter. Her bright blue eyes, expressive face, and crooked smile warmed the heart of everyone she met. Rayleigh inherited from her mother both elegance and confidence. She was a stunning little lady in pearls and lace when she took part in her parents’ and uncle’s weddings. Rayleigh was her daddy’s hard working farm girl and assisted in the planting of her parents’ newest orchard, Rayleigh’s Block. She enjoyed riding on the tractor or in the truck helping her family harvest fruit this fall. Rayleigh was a happy and inquisitive child and being with her was a great privilege. It is obvious that Rayleigh loved her life and loved her family very much.
Rayleigh received the loving and devoted care of her grandparents Belinda and Gary Grillo and Rhonda Colbert. Rayleigh shared a special bond with her great-grandparents Santos and Lupe Ramon and Gini and Marvin Grillo. Rayleigh was blessed to have spent time with her great-great-grandmother Elaine Grillo. Rayleigh was loved deeply by her uncle and aunt Andrew and Meghan Grillo, uncle Bobby Colbert, her other uncles, aunts, cousins, and all of her extended family. She is being cared for and loved in Heaven by her grandfather Raymond Colbert.
A celebration of Rayleigh’s life will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Rayleigh’s Block of the Colbert Orchards three miles north of Tonasket. We ask in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the North Valley Hospital Foundation in honor of Rayleigh Bell Colbert. We thank everyone for their continued love and support.
Bergh Funeral Service of Oroville/Tonasket in care of arrangements.
