Tonasket Chamber installs officers, bestows annual awards | Slideshow


TONASKET – The Tonasket Chamber of Commerce officially installed its new officers and presented its annual awards Thursday, Jan. 24, at its annual banquet and fundraising auction.

The U.S. Armed Forces Legacy Project was announced as the Organization of the Year.

II Sisters Video and Licensing was named Business of the Year.

Scott Smith was named Citizen of the Year.

Patti Middleton was named 2013 Tonasket Founders Day Parade Grand Marshal.

Also, Linda Black made a presentation on the progress of the Tonasket Water Ranch Spray Park, for which she is raising funds with the goal of a summer, 2013 completion, and Middleton and Kristi Hutchins shared the vision of the city’s “Pretty Committee.”

The 2013 officers include Julie Alley (president), Terri Orford (vice president), Aaron Kester (secretary), Bill Nelson (treasurer), and Robert Nau, Kay Behymer, Dale Crandall and Patrick Plumb (board of directors).

Live and silent auctions brought in a total of $3,369.
