OROVILLE – Lake Roosevelt moved into sole possession of the Central Washington League North Division’s top spot on Friday with a 50-37 victory at Oroville.
The Hornets and Raiders were tied for the top spot heading into the game.
Oroville played perhaps its best three quarters of the season as they trailed by just four points, 38-34, heading to the fourth quarter.
The Hornets managed just three points in the fourth quarter – all on free throws – as Lake Roosevelt pulled away.
Lily Hilderbrand scored 16 points and had 12 rebounds, Callie Barker added nine points and Briana Moralez furnished eight for the Hornets (7-7, 3-2 CWL).
Keya Fasthorse and Tanecia Stazcak each scored 10 for Lake Roosevelt (9-4, 4-1).
