Anna Louise Paup-Hill, 82, Oroville, died on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 in Goldendale, Wash.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1924 in Waynesburg, Ky. to parents Isom Potter and Dixie Pearl (Robinson) Howell. Louise was raised in Kentucky and moved to Omak in 1943 where she worked for Pacific NW Bell Telephone Company until 1963. She married Dr. Glenn A. Paup and he preceded her in death in 1978. In 1979 Louise moved to Oroville. She attended the Pentecostal Church of God where she met and married Milton F. Hill in 1980. Milton preceded her in death in 2002. In 2006 she moved to Goldendale to live with her granddaughter, Cari Kolbaba. Her main focus was her family; visiting and being with them as well as spending time researching family genealogy was very important to Louise.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Sharon Wills of Longview, Wash.; her son, Kelly Paup of Oroville; her brother, James Oliver Howell of Wenatchee; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Oroville Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Parish Plumlee officiating.
