Richard ‘Dick’ W. Dearmin, age 78, passed away May 14, 2011, in Wenatchee.
He was born on May 2, 1933, in Seattle. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and worked as a computer analyst for Boeing Computer Services for over 30 years. Dick became a legendary figure in Tonasket, where he retired. With his devilish sense of humor, Dick was known for his ability to spin a good yarn and his love of the great outdoors, family and friends. Dick lived life on his own terms and will be greatly missed. Dick peacefully passed away surrounded by family and close friends after a brief illness.
He is survived by his mother, Coral Dearmin; his brother, William Dearmin; his sister, Joanne Fridlund and his daughters Diana Dearmin, Alisha Dearmin and Dawn Dearmin.
A celebration of Dick’s life will be held at the Tonasket Eagles on June 17, 2011, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Honor Flight network (http://www.honorflight.org).
